Videogram Lunchmeat VHS!

May 14, 2015

Lunchmeat VHS

Yes! Here it is! I couldn’t be more excited to announce the second physical Videogram release, the Lunchmeat VHS! Released in collaboration with Lunchmeat VHS Fanzine and Doc Terror, this limited-edition VHS features the complete 2014 S/T album in visual form, edited as a faux-trailer show. Fourteen videos in total complete with idents.

But that’s not all! We went out of our way to make this one as beefy as possible, so as an added bonus the VHS includes a 3D version – with glasses included! Wrapped in a clambox shell and featuring artwork by Loud Comix‘ illustrator Jamie Vayda, these are available via Lunchmeat‘s official website only, and, to make it fair for everyone, there are no pre-orders taken. Get it here.

EDIT: The VHS has sold out. A huge thank-you to everyone for the amazing support!

EDIT II: For those that missed out on the VHS the video is now available as a digital download via VHX.com! It includes the original 34-minute Videogram experience and comes with the VHS-master of the S/T album as a bonus. Get it here.

To commemorate this trés cool release, and give the awesome work Jamie did its due, I am also doing a one-time campaign on Teespring. Screenprinted in blood-red ink on premium yellow t-shirts (giallo, get it?), these limited-edition t-shirts are gorgeous and available in all sizes (S – 3XL). Once they’re gone they will not be reprinted, so make sure to reserve yours today! Get it here.

Lunchmeat!

August 5, 2014

lunchmeat

…as weird as it is for an old punker to admit, VIDEOGRAM is sort of a concept album… Head on over to Lunchmeat VHS Fanzine to read the all-new interview I did, covering the origins of the album, what’s coming in the near future and a pretty damn fine review of the album as a whole.

Sellergren has masterfully captured the most iconic aural tropes of Italian horror scoring, pushed them through his own personal filter, and melded them with an unmistakable and eerie 80s synth-driven scope of sounds to concoct what may just be the most powerful piece of electronic scoring to hit the horror community this year.

Read it here and check out the official page on Facebook here.

Videogram pre-order

June 29, 2014

Well, the countdown has begun with less than two weeks ’til Doc Terror‘s Italian Horror Week kicks off. And man I am psyched! This past Friday saw the initial pre-order release of the Videogram album and I can’t believe the response I’ve gotten so far!

I’ve been sending out promo downloads like crazy since Thursday, and after receiving a super-positive plug from Lunchmeat VHS Fanzine things really turned up a notch. Leaving me kinda flabbergasted to tell you the truth.

Now, I can’t make anything official just yet, but I have received some offers of releasing the album on various physical formats – including one that’ll have VHS fanatics salivating – and already conducted two interviews (with more to come) and there’s a couple of shout-outs and plugs coming in the near future. And how crazy is it that the album has already placed second in the horror soundtrack category on Bandcamp two weeks prior to its release?

Anyway, make sure to check out the pre-order tracks, $7 gets you the full album on July 11th, visit my new SoundCloud for a taste of Charles Bronson and 2077: Raiders of the Apocalypse – both tracks available as free downloads via my Bandcamp, provided you have a valid email address.
