Check out the latest episode from The Adventures of Superseven and Sandra West, entitled Operation: One Shot…One Kill! Featuring a brilliant performance from actor Glenn Takakjian – did you know he worked on Douglas McKeown‘s 1983 sci-fi cult classic The Deadly Spawn?!!* – this was pretty darn funny and offered a killer spaghetti western track from The Jimmy C to boot. I was totally blown away how good he emulated Ennio Morricone‘s Ecstasy of Gold from The Good The Bad The Ugly that I instantly rewound the scene just to hear it again. Amazing!
The episode also marks the debut of Call Me Greenhorn‘s upcoming Halloween/spaghetti western track The Ghost of Lee Van Cleef (and the return of Squawky!) to be released in October, so make sure to listen closely as the end credits roll. Director Scott Rhodes informed me that this is a two-parter and the second installment Operation: Doom Service will have even more spaghetti western sounds and will be online towards the end of next week, so make sure to check that one out as well!
In other news, things are moving quite nicely for the show as they just shared the news the web series has been made an official selection at the 2013 Action on Film International Film Festival (yay!). Check it out here and get more Superseven news and updates via their official Facebook here.
* = IMO working on The Deadly Spawn is not only cool, but super-cool, bordering on sheer awesome. I checked Glenn’s page on IMDB.com and swear I went full-nerd “OMG! OMG! That is awesome!!!” reading it.
