Got this from my friend John Miner. Might sound obvious, but you’d be surprised.

Top Poster of the Day!

September 27, 2011

Yup! Added yesterday at I was stoked today to see the poster I made for my new outfit The Cymatics climbed to the top during the night! (Technically during the day ’cause they’re located in the US).

Check it out here and please do check out the band on Facebook at

New Artwork!

September 26, 2011

Well, it’s not 100% finished, but it’s just a matter of adding the booking agency logo plus some basic info about the band and then we’re done! The poster for the Cymatics‘ upcoming 2012 tour. Tried to keep it simple with as few colors as possible and also within the subject matter of the band name (FYI: “cymatics” is the study of visible sound and vibration, spearheaded by Austrian scientist Hans Jenny – check it out on the web!). It turned out pretty cool and I am happy with the results. Now all I have to do is wait ’til next year…

There’s been yet one more track added to the demos so check ’em out at and join us on Facebook too!

The Cymatics!

September 22, 2011

Well, it took some time – not really, less than two months but I’m an impatient kinda guy – but my new band The Cymatics has officially been launched! Featuring American expatriate Ross Kersten of LaDonnas/The Mochines fame and Italian madman Alessandro Della Ratta from The Homebreakers, this outfit is sure gonna make some ripples in the near future! Currently working on tons of material we’re doing a European tour in 2012 followed by the recording of our first album.

Give the demos a spin, check ’em out on Bandcamp as well, and if you like it join us on the official Facebook site.

Wow! I’m almost embarrassed by the fact I forgot to include this guy among my links to begin with, but sometimes you just plain forget! US poster artist/illustrator Scrojo is in my humble opinion one of the best damn artists out there right now. Every time I visit I’m making sure to check out if there’s anything new from the guy, ’cause he just continues to impress with his art, inspiring me in continuing to push the boundries of what I can do with my own stuff.

A nice combination of hand-drawn illustrations and collages his works are available in limited edition silk-screens via his website, but there’s also a new book collecting some of his mind-blowing art. Check it out!

Rock ‘n’ Roll Radio

September 2, 2011

My pal Mike at WUSB in Stony Brook, N.Y. runs the awesome show Rock ‘n’ Roll Dance Party that airs every Tuesday between 9pm ’til midnight. Always playing tons of cool stuff both old and new he recently decided to air one of the tracks off my solo effort (that might actually become a quite international effort, but more info about that as it happens!), to which I’m much obliged. You can hear it online here (it starts around 1h 20 mins), but do enjoy the complete show!

The show can be found on 90.1 FM (if you’re in the neighbourhood), but us foreigners can check it out live as it streams online (link here)! As always, you can check out my musical endeavors online on my Bandcamp here.
